Welcome to Holdrum's Choir Home Page! Music is alive all around us in our everyday lives. Have you ever had even one day when you had absolutely no contact with music whatsoever? Most likely, you don’t remember many of these kinds of days, if any at all! Whether you turn on the radio, CD player, TV, go to the movies, hang out with your friends, or even sing in the shower, music and singing is a part of you, and is found in so many areas of our daily lives! Holdrum Middle School offers two vocal music ensembles throughout the school year. Concert Choir is open to all students in grades 6, 7, or 8, and Select Choir is an auditioned ensemble. Check out the information below to learn more about our choirs! Concert Choir Click on the "Concert Choir" link to the left for information about rehearsal changes! Concert Choir is open to any student who enjoys singing! This group rehearses every Wednesday and Friday morning throughout the school year from 7:30 to 8:05 AM. Sign-ups for Concert Choir will be during lunch on Friday, September 4 through Thursday, September 10, and our Welcome Meeting will be held on Friday, September 11 at 7:30AM.  The Concert Choir performs at both the Winter and Spring Concerts, with possibilities for other exciting performances. Any interested student should speak to Mrs. Teitsma. Select Choir Click on the "Select Choir" link to the left for information about rehearsal changes! Select Choir is our auditioned ensemble. To be eligible for this choir, students must first be members of Concert Choir. This group rehearses each Wednesday afternoon from 2:50 to 4:15PM. Auditions for Select Choir will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2009 beginning immediately after school.
