CARES Home

Welcome!  Below you will find general information regarding the CARES Program.  Please refer to the "Handbook" for details.  CARES accepts new registrations throughout the school year. A "Registration Packet" is available to download.  All completed forms and registration fee can be sent in with your child or mailed to the school prior to beginning CARES. Our hours are M-F  7-8am and 2:45-6pm on all school calendar days.  Besides regularly using CARES full or part-time, you can use it anytime.  As long as you are registered, you can occasionally drop your child off in the morning, let them stay in the afternoon or stay even after-school activities dismiss. We also offer CARES on school half-days from 11:45-2:45pm, with additional hours until 6:00pm if you need them. We use the library workroom as our main room.  It is next to the kindergarten.  Morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up is through the kindergarten playground gate that faces Holland Road, then into the private back door to this room. CARES staff picks-up lower floor students from their classrooms at the end of day.  Upper floor students arrive unescorted. Please provide a snack and drink for your child. It is very important that you contact us if there is any change to your childs CARES schedule including, absenses, car or bus rider, participation in after-school  activities, etc. Thank you!
