2006 St Bede Graduate is Archbishop Wood 2010 Valedictorian
Lisa George, a senior at Archbishop Wood High School and a 2006 graduate of St Bede school was selected as 2010 Class Valedictorian. Lisa's career at Archbishop Wood has been highlighted by outstanding grades and a commitment to community service. Lisa credits the values which she received at St. Bede the Venerable School for helping her to excel at school and learn the value of helping others.
2009 Drexel University Presidential Scholarship
Two of our 2005 graduates were recently awarded the very prestigious Presidential Scholarship to Drexel University! This is a fully paid tuition scholarship to Drexel University. For TWO graduates from St. Bede's to have received this scholarship is incredible! With 36,000 applications for admission to Drexel, this is a very competitive scholarship.

John Hopkins University CTY Talent Search
This search is for 7th and 8th graders to take the SAT's. Several of our students
received recognition for their testing results.
1) One of our students results showed that they scored much higher than the average
high school senior taking the SAT in the area of reading.
2) Several of our students scored equal to or above the average score for a college
bound senior taking the SAT.
