TECHNOLOGY DANCES

NOTE:  DUE TO CHURCH CONSTRUCTION THE DANCES
WILL TAKE PLACE IN THE GYM

Tickets will be sold at the door.
This dance is for 6th, 7th, 8th grades only.
 All schools welcome.

 CHAPERONES ALWAYS NEEDED
If we do not have enough chaperones for a dance, the dance
will be cancelled the afternoon of the dance.
DO NOT assume there are enoough chaperones because a large
number of chaperones are needed this year due to
the dance being held in the gym.
We welcome and need parents from all schools to help chaperone.
Please consider volunteering for at least one dance.
Each grade supplies chaperones for two dances a year. 
We welcome parents who would like to chaperone
more than two dances a year.

STUDENT HELP
We also need students to help clean up for 20 minutes after the dance.

DANCE DETAILS
All dances start at 7:30pm in the school gym
and end promptly at 10pm.
Who:  6th, 7th, 8th graders
Where: St Bede SCHOOL GYM
Tickets:  $5 each - Tickets will be sold at the door.
The dance does not start until 7:30 PM.
Children cannot leave until the dance is over at 10pm.
   Parents pick children up promptly at 10pm.

Tickets are $5 and are sold at the door. 

DRESS CODE
Proper attire is required.  NO suggestive clothing, such as spaghetti straps,
 mini skirts, very short shorts or anything that exposes the shoulders,
chest, belly, back or too much of the legs.  Children dressed 
inappropriately WILL BE SENT HOME. 

CODE of CONDUCT
It is our goal to provide a safe and morally secure environment where 6th, 7th and 8th graders of St. Bede's and neighboring parishes, and their guests, can have fun and dance to their hearts content.  To achieve this goal, children and their parents need to read and adhere to the following:

• Children are not permitted to leave the Church Hall until the dance is over at 10 PM. However, a parent may come into the dance to pick a child up early.
• Parents agree to pick children up promptly at 10PM
• Suggestive or dangerous dancing is forbidden
• Proper attire is required.  See Dress Code above
• Only 6th, 7th and 8th graders are invited to the dance.  Other grades are not allowed.
• Respect the property of others.  If it doesn't belong to you, please do not touch it.
• Respect the property of St. Bede's. Littering and destructive behavior is forbidden.
• Do not throw candy wrappers and raffle tickets on the floor.
• No foul or abusive language to each other or chaperones. 
• St. Bede's is not responsible for loss or damage to any personal valuables, including jewely and cell phones.
• No running or jumping on the dance floor.  
• All should behave properly by respecting themselves, others, their property and their opinions.
