Internship and Clinical Info

The Clinical Information is for students who are registered in Allied Health II.  There are two versions of Allied Health Science II.  The Exploratory class will go to a variety of healthcare settings.   The Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) class will go only to the long term care facility for thier clinical experience.  A new requirement was implemented back in 2005 which requires all students enrolled in Allied Health Science II to have a 7 year background check and to have a mandatory random drug screening test performed.  CMS will pay for both of these events but the students must complete the form and turn it in BEFORE the end of the school year.  Failure to turn in the form will result in removal from this class and another medical class will be selected for you. Blank Background Form.pdf Drug Screening.pdf The Internship Information is for students who are registered in Medical Science II.  It may be applicable to students who are registered in Biotechnology II, Health Information Technology II or Advanced Studies.  The internship is a 1:1 experience and the students MUST have a car to transport themselves to their internship site.
