MSBT Academy Information

The Medical Science and Biotechnology Academy is highly competitive.  We have two programs in our academy: Medical and Diagnostics and Biotechnology.  There is room in your schedule to double major but each student must select one of the two programs as their main track.  Program Overviews.pdf  We offer Project Lead the Way (PLTW) for Biomedical Sciences and are leading the state in this initiative.  Students in both of our programs can take PLTW courses. The Medical and Diagnostics program has filled and wait listed students every year since our opening in 2002.  Students who are interested in becoming a physcian, nurse or any of the 200 allied health professions would  enjoy this program.  The instructors in this program are nurses and a chiropractor.  MSB Template Diagnostics 0809.pdf The Biotechnology program is unique to Berry with a state approved program of  4 classes which will help to prepare students for an entry level job in the biotechnology industry or to go onto a community college or four year university.  The instructors in this program have worked in the biotechnology industry. This is a very hands on lab oriented program.
