Summers Biotechnical Engineering

Welcome to the world of biotechnology!  This new course is being offered to help meet the increased need for trained workers in the field of biotechnology.  North Carolina has moved to #3 in regards to states with the highest concentration of biotechnology companies. Only California and Massachusetts have more biotech companies. Below are the course syllabus and bulletin which outline what we will be discussing and some basic facts about myself and what my expectations are for you in this class.  I am looking forward to teaching this new course and I hope you find the field of biotechnology as exciting as I do! This course is part of the Project Lead the Way curriculum which is currently in our AOE Academy and is also being implemented in our Medical Science and Biotechnology Academy.
