Dual Enrollment Program
Dual Enrollment Program

Dual Enrollment is an innovative partnership begun in between Montgomery College and Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS).  Dual Enrollment provide an opportunity for identified high achieving students at Einstein High School to attend college classes during a regular school day at the Einstein. Students can earn full college and high school credits for each class taken, and may take up to 2 college courses per semester.  Einstein students may take college classes at either Einstein, at an MC Campus or on-line. These college courses enhance and often supplement Advanced Placement classes offered at the high schools. These classes can also count towards their high school diploma as well.  All Dual Enrollment courses are taught by Montgomery College faculty.

Dual Enrollment is an innovative partnership between Montgomery College and Montgomery County Public Schools since 2002. Montgomery College faculty teach these college classes, that run throughout the fall and spring, to qualified high school students on the high school campus. Classroom space is provided by Einstein High School as needed. This program provides for a Director from Montgomery College and an assistant who oversees the high school programs. Each high school has its own part-time Coordinator, who is supported and guided by one of the high school administrators.
